Finals Week Is Almost Here – Are You Ready?

Final Exams begin next Tuesday, December 17, and we want to ensure every Maranatha student is set up for success!

If you haven’t already, now is the time to double-check your schedule, gather your supplies, and prepare for a focused and productive week.

Key Reminders for Finals Week:
  • Check Your Finals Schedule: Make sure you know where and when each of your exams will take place. Refer to the Finals Location Schedule, as exams may not be held in your regular classroom.
  • Be Prepared: Bring all necessary materials for each exam, including pencils, calculators, or any other specific items required for your subject. If your exam requires an electronic device, ensure it is fully charged and bring a portable charger if needed.
  • Yondr Policy in Effect: All electronic devices must be locked in your Yondr pouch while on campus. Parents, please remind your students to bring their pouches and adhere to this policy.
  • Time Guidelines: Students must remain in their exam room for 70 minutes after the start time. Use this time to review your work and check for accuracy.
  • Dress Code: Be sure to arrive in your school uniform and follow all guidelines.

What to Do If You’re Absent: Per school policy, no finals may be taken early. Students unable to take their exams during Finals Week will receive an “Incomplete” and will need to complete their exams in January. If this applies to you, contact Beth Romero at b_romero@mhs-hs.org to make arrangements.

LAP Students: LAP finals will be held in the Commons/Room 217. Mr. Hyunh will be in touch with specific instructions, or you can reach out to him with any questions.

Tips for Success:
  • Get plenty of rest: Sleep is critical for focus and recall during exams.
  • Eat a healthy breakfast: Fuel up to stay energized throughout the day.
  • Arrive early: Give yourself time to settle in and avoid any last-minute stress.

After your last exam on Thursday, December 19, Christmas Break officially begins! We wish you all the best as you wrap up this semester and look forward to seeing you back on campus in the new year on Tuesday, January 7.

Merry Christmas and Happy New Year!
