Bidding will open soon, and excitement is building for Maranatha’s 2026 Gala online silent auction! Next week, you’ll be able to browse and bid on a variety of items at maranathagala.org, with something for everyone, from memorable experiences to fun gift packs and local favorites.

Maranatha Athletics' Spring season is underway, with 7 active teams this year, many with multiple levels. 

Join us Friday, March 13, at 7:00 pm for Maranatha’s Dance Company Annual Recital! This special evening is a celebration of movement, artistry, and worship as our students take the stage to glorify God through the gift of dance.

Last year, our community watched one of our own step up in a meaningful way, and this year she’s doing it again.

One of the things that makes Maranatha special is the way our parents show up. Our biggest events simply don’t happen without your time, energy, and willingness to serve. 

March 7 is almost here, and anticipation continues to build for Maranatha’s 60th Anniversary Gala at the beautiful LA Arboretum and Botanic Garden. This will be a truly special evening as we celebrate six decades of God’s faithfulness to Maranatha and gather to look ahead to what’s next for our school.

Congratulations to our Varsity Winter teams who will be proceeding on to their CIF Southern Section Round 1 Playoff matchups. Boys’ Basketball, as well as Boys’ and Girls’ Soccer, each took home 3rd Place finishes in the Olympic League this season, earning them automatic playoff bids. 

We’re excited to share that Junior & Senior Grandparents’ Day will take place on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 8:30–10:00 am in the Student Center at Maranatha High School.

Spring is a busy season at Maranatha, and it’s also one of the best times to jump in and serve in a practical, meaningful way. 

Parents are invited to join us for the Parent Association meeting this Wednesday, February 11, from 8:30–9:30 am in the Student Center.

James K.A. Smith argues that education is not just about the ideas we think but about the habits that shape who we become. At Maranatha, academics are distinctive because learning is approached as formation rather than mere information transfer. 

This month's chapel series will be reflecting on “Scripture”. This series will show us the work that God can do in us through Scripture and remind us that Scripture can be a daily practice of worship.

After a half day of school on Friday, January 23, fifty-six students traveled up the mountain to Forest Home in Forest Falls for our annual Spiritual Life Retreat. This retreat is designed to give students a chance to disengage from the day-to-day pressures and distractions of life and intentionally focus on God, one another, and the beauty of God’s creation.

We’re looking forward to welcoming grandparents of our junior and senior students to campus for Grandparents’ Day on Thursday, April 2, 2026, from 8:30–10:00 am in the Student Center at Maranatha High School.

The February 2026 edition of the Minutemen Playbook is now available, and winter sports are hitting a pivotal point in the season. 

The final week of the 2026 Winter season is upon us, and our programs are prepared to take on Village Christian in our final Olympic League match-up this Tuesday before CIF-SS Playoffs!

Maranatha High School is excited to host a Soccer Technical Skills Camp on Saturday, February 21, from 9:00–11:00 am on Keith Family Field.

Parents are warmly invited to join us for our next Parent Association meeting on Wednesday, February 11, from 8:30–9:30 am in the Student Center.

This week, our athletic teams take on Heritage Christian, highlighted by a special Senior Night celebration for our Varsity Boys’ Soccer program on Tuesday, January 27.

Winter Formal Sadie Hawkins Dance, Queen of Hearts, is coming up on February 7, and students won’t want to miss it.
