Athletics News and Game Schedule: Dec. 2-7

This is a busy time of the year. Take a look at all the things happening in Athletics this week--there's a lot!  

 

BOYS’ BASKETBALL- Frosh Boys' Basketball is participating in the Mark Keppel Tournament this week and will have 4 scheduled games to play. Tuesday (4:00 pm vs. San Gabriel), Wednesday (6:40 pm vs. La Canada), Thursday (TBD), and Saturday (TBD). All games are played at Mark Keppel High School. JV Boys' Basketball is also playing in the Mark Keppel JV Tournament this week and will have 4 games as well. Tuesday (6:40 pm vs. La Canada ), Wednesday (5:20 pm vs. Cathedral), Friday (TBD), and Saturday (TBD). All games are played at Mark Keppel High School. Varsity Boys’ Basketball is hosting the 22nd Annual Rose City RoundBall Classic in Maranatha's Gymnasium this week. Games will be played from 3:45-9:15 pm Monday - Friday and all day on Saturday. Maranatha is set to play at 8:15 pm on Tuesday, December 3, for the team’s first home game of the season vs. Compton Centennial.

 

GIRLS’ BASKETBALL - JV Girls' Basketball begins their season with an away game against Burbank High on Tuesday, December 3, at 4:00 pm. Varsity Girls' Basketball will also travel to Burbank on Tuesday for a 5:30 pm tip-off. The team will then travel to Trinity Classical Academy to participate in their tournament from Thursday - Saturday. Their first game tips off on Thursday night at 7:30 pm vs. Trinity Classical Academy. 

 

BOYS’ SOCCER - JV Boys' Soccer continues their campaign with home games on Tuesday vs. Ontario Christian and follows it up with a Friday home game versus South Pasadena at 3:30 pm. Varsity Boys’ Soccer hosts Blair High School on Monday night at 5:30 pm. The team then travels to Ontario Christian on Tuesday for a 6:00 pm kick-off, finishing their week with a Friday night 5:30 pm game vs. South Pasadena at home.

 

GIRLS’ SOCCER - JV Girls’ Soccer hosts Ontario Christian on Tuesday at 4:00 pm for their game of the week. The Varsity Girls are hosting Blair High School on Monday, December 2, at 3:30 pm, traveling to Ontario Christian on Tuesday for a 4:00 pm game, and finishing up their weekly game schedule with an early afternoon game on Thursday at 1:30 pm vs. Milken. Thursday's game is to be played at Delano Park in Van Nuys.
