ASL 3 Students Practice Their Skills Through Storytelling

They have been working on their final unit of the year, "Story Telling." ASL storytelling involves role shifting, using non-manual markers such as facial expressions, correct ASL grammar, and other skills. Maranatha’s ASL 3 students told stories to groups of children, using both a reader and a signer. The high schoolers did great, and the PCS students loved having big kids on campus. 

Maranatha continues this tradition with PCS and hopes to visit a school for deaf children in the future.
