Get Ready for an Unforgettable Homecoming Week!

Maranatha’s campus is buzzing with excitement as we kick off Homecoming Week! Packed with spirited activities, themed dress days, and memorable events, this is a week for celebrating our vibrant community!

To get the party started, the Student Council has planned a week of fun dress-up themes. Students (and staff!) are invited to show their school spirit by dressing up each day:

  • Monday: "House Colors" – Rep your house with pride!
  • Tuesday: "Jersey Day" – Wear your favorite team’s jersey and show off your sports spirit!
  • Wednesday: "Western" – Dust off your cowboy boots and hats for a wild western day!
  • Thursday: "Anything but a Backpack" – Get creative and carry your books in anything but a backpack!
  • Friday: "Blue Bash" – Deck yourself out in blue and show your Minutemen pride!

Don't forget to dress appropriately and follow the guidelines emailed by Dean Babikian.

Friday, October 4 is the big day! The excitement kicks off with a high-energy Pep Rally at noon to get everyone pumped for the evening festivities. Later, the 2024 Hall of Fame Dinner & Ceremony will honor five outstanding inductees from Maranatha Athletics. The Homecoming football game starts at 7:00 pm on Keith Family Field, with pre-game presentations and performances beginning at 6:40 pm. Plus, at halftime, we’ll crown our 2024 Homecoming King and Queen as the court is introduced.

For our alumni, there’s a special treat! Enjoy the exclusive Alumni Zone, an on-field VIP reception with food, swag, and more, to reconnect with fellow alumni and celebrate in style.

But the fun doesn’t stop there! On Saturday morning, we’re hosting a Milestone Brunch in the garden for our alumni from the classes of 2014, 2004, 1994, 1984, and 1974.

The grand finale is the Homecoming Dance on Saturday night, where students will wrap up the week in style! Don’t forget, tickets must be purchased by October 1 at 11:45 pm. Click HERE for more details.

Homecoming Week is all about celebrating our Maranatha spirit, forging new memories, and honoring our traditions. Whether you’re participating in themed dress days, cheering at the football game, or dancing the night away, your enthusiasm makes our community shine brighter.

Let’s come together to make this Homecoming the best one yet!
