In the wake of the devastating wildfires impacting our region, we are reminded of our call to “carry each other’s burdens” (Galatians 6:2) and to reflect Christ’s love through care and compassion. Many in our Maranatha community are facing significant challenges, including the loss of homes and the need for temporary housing.
We are offering two ways for our community to come together to provide support or receive assistance:
MARANATHA EMERGENCY RELIEF FUND - This fund provides direct financial assistance to Maranatha families affected by the wildfires, covering essential needs such as temporary housing and daily expenses. Our goal is to raise $50,000 to bring meaningful relief to those in need. Every contribution, no matter the size, makes a difference. Learn more and donate here.
TEMPORARY HOUSING SUPPORT - If your family needs temporary housing or if you can offer space in your home to host another family, we’ve created an online platform to connect those in need with those who can provide. Share your need or offer assistance here.
Let us come together as a family, united in faith, to support one another during this challenging time. Visit the links above for more details and to take action.
Thank you for being the hands and feet of Christ as we embody His love in service to one another.
