October’s PA Meeting

The Parent Association invites you to their upcoming PA Meeting on Friday, October 11.

MHS parents will want to hear Mrs. Kimi Nahigian, Maranatha’s Instructional Coach & Learning Assistance Supervisor, share on the topic “Encouraging Critical Thinking Among Teens: Teaching your teen to think critically and discern truth from a biblical and scientific perspective.” Come learn how Frontal Lobe development and Executive function skills can help you and your student.

Kimi Nahigian is an educator with 12 years of experience wearing many hats—teacher, administrator, instructional coach, and educational therapist. Armed with degrees from Azusa Pacific University in Mathematics and Biblical Studies, plus a Master's in Teaching and Learning, she’s on a mission to sprinkle a little bit of Christ into the classroom every day. Kimi is passionate about helping students boost their executive functioning skills, making learning an adventure where they can grow both academically and spiritually while mastering time management and problem-solving along the way!

We hope you can join us on Friday, October 11, from 8:30-9:30 am in the Student Center.
