With our Spring Season coming to a close, we want to celebrate a few student-athletes and teams for their successes.
Baseball: Maranatha junior Zachary Strickland entered into Maranatha's history books as he finished with 17 total strikeouts and 3 RBIs in last Thursday's playoff game win (4-1) against Royal High School. Our Baseball team now advances to the Division 2, Round 2 Playoffs on Tuesday, May 7 at Ayala High School in Chino Hills. Game time is currently scheduled for 3:15 pm per CIF.
Swim: Maranatha junior Elijah Redson won first place in two events last Thursday at the CIF-SS Division 4 Swim Finals! He took first place in the 200-yard Individual Medley and first place in the 100-yard backstroke! Maranatha freshman Krista Caballeros finished in the Top 15 in the 100-yard breaststroke on Friday in the CIF-SS Division 3 Swim Finals.
Track & Field: Maranatha freshman Deanna McKellop finished in the Top 25 in the CIF-SS Track & Field Division 4 200 Meter Sprint on Saturday in Carpinteria!
We are abundantly proud of the season-ending finishes in Track & Field and Swim, and the continued success of the Baseball team!
