Celebrating Legacy and Generosity at Maranatha’s Annual Benefit

Maranatha’s Annual Benefit, held this past Saturday evening, was a beautiful celebration of God’s faithfulness throughout our school’s 59-year history.

Nearly 300 staff, faculty, parents, and alumni gathered together to honor John Rouse’s 40 years of service, and to continue his legacy by donating to establish the John Rouse Education Endowment Fund, which provides tuition assistance to mission-aligned families. Elegantly dressed guests at the "bow-tie" event (Mr. Rouse's signature look) bid enthusiastically in the silent and live auctions and generously raised their bid paddles to donate to the cause.

We deeply appreciate the incredible parent volunteers who willingly gave their time and talents to make the evening special and are grateful to everyone who attended and showcased the uniqueness of our community. We were blessed by the fellowship we shared with families that God brought together from both our present and past. We extend a special thanks to the Beltré family for graciously opening their home for this monumental gathering.

This year's benefit may be the most successful in the school's nearly 60-year history, and will long be remembered for the leader whose legacy is at the foundation of the school's mission and purpose.
