Students should refer to the above locations for where to report for their final exam, as their exam may not be in their regular classroom.
Students who are absent during Finals:
Per school policy, NO student may take a final exam early.
If a student is absent for finals for any reason, they will have an “Incomplete” in the course, and they will make up their finals upon returning to school in January.
If you or your student are in this situation, please contact Beth Romero, b_romero@mhs-hs.org, to arrange your makeup.
LAP Finals
LAP finals will be held in the Commons/217.
Mr. Hyunh will be in communication regarding any students who will be in the LAP room. Please reach out to him with questions.
Please be advised that for each exam, students will not be permitted to leave the exam room until 70 minutes have elapsed since the start time. This is to provide a safeguard and help ensure that students are completing their exams thoughtfully, and checking their responses for accuracy. Please also remember that electronic devices (e.g., smartphones, smartwatches) are prohibited unless the exam explicitly instructs students to use them. Students who have an exam requiring an electronic device should make sure it is charged, and if needed, bring a portable charger.
We will be implementing our Yondr policy for devices during exam week. Parents, please ensure that your student has his/her Yondr pouch and that his/her devices are locked in them for the entire time they are on campus for finals.
Students, remember to be in school uniform and on time for each of your finals. If you have any questions, please contact Beth Romero, b_romero@mhs-hs.org.
After the finals on Thursday, the students' Christmas Break officially starts. We will see you all in the new year on Tuesday, January 7.
We wish you the Merriest Christmas and a Happy New Year!
